Solar Battery Cover Australia – Aluminium Covers for Sigenergy, Sungrow, GoodWe BYD & Other Batteries

Purpose-built covers sized for Australia's most popular home batteries. Laser-cut from 2.5mm marine-grade aluminium in Brisbane, finished in Dulux Protexture Surfmist powder coat (custom colours available) and supplied as a bolt-together flat-pack kit.

Choose Your Cover

• Sig 1.2: 1190(H) × 1000(W) × 400(D). Typically suits Sigenergy (SigenStor)

• Sig 1.5: 1490(H) × 1000(W) × 400(D). Typically suits taller Sigenergy stacks

• Sun 1.2: 1190(H) × 900(W) × 500(D). Typically suits Sungrow, GoodWe, BYD and Fox ESS

• Sun 1.5: 1490(H) × 900(W) × 500(D). Typically suits taller Sungrow, GoodWe, BYD and Fox ESS stacks

All sizes are internal dimensions in mm.

How to Check Your Size

Rule of thumb: allow at least 100mm clearance at the front and on each side of your battery. Front clearance matters most, so never go below 100mm at the front.

1. Measure your battery: height, width and depth, including any stacked modules, isolators or conduit that will sit under the cover.

2. Check the footprint: Sig covers fit batteries up to 800mm wide × 300mm deep. Sun covers fit batteries up to 700mm wide × 400mm deep.

3. Choose your height: pick 1.2 or 1.5 so the cover clears the top of your battery, leaving room for any cabling above it.

4. Check your battery's installation manual. If the manufacturer requires larger clearances, theirs apply.

• Keyhole mounting system for fast wall fixing

• 5–7 mounting points with 2 screws each, depending on size

• Easy removal for servicing and access

Optional Mounting Brackets

• Bottom Mount Bracket  $15: bolts to your concrete slab or pad and carries the weight of the cover, taking load off the wall fixings.

All covers must be installed in accordance with:

• The equipment manufacturer's installation requirements

• Minimum clearance and ventilation specifications

• SE Covers installation guidelines

It is the responsibility of the installer and/or purchaser to:

• Confirm correct sizing and internal fitment prior to installation

• Ensure adequate airflow and heat dissipation is maintained at all times

• Verify all manufacturer clearance requirements are met

• Determine suitability of the product for the specific installation

Improper installation, restricted airflow, or failure to comply with manufacturer requirements may result in reduced performance, equipment damage, overheating, or voiding of manufacturer warranties.
